9/18/10 IM BACK!!

I totally did not keep my promise but I am back and thats all that matters. Anyways quite a few things have been going on since July. I just started classes at my new school and no surprise I will be in the photography program. Very excited about that to say the least and I have also been getting quite a few request for photoshoots and will hopefully start getting payed work. Also lately I have been at quite a few events, mostly political events since I am with the Nebraska Young Democrats, but I also got an air show in. Other than that its been a pretty bland two months, and I often had to resort to doing some experimental photography as you can see below. In the future as I start becoming more active I will be keeping this blog in line with what I have been doing and photographing. Enjoy the pictures and subscribe.

Whats Going On?

Well this last week two major things happened of course when it comes to my photos. The first event was a lake party in Adams, Nebraska with the UNL Tekes (TKE Fraternity)and the second was a photo shoot with a friend of mine who is getting into the rap biz. Photographically speaking I really love how the photos came out from the photo shoot. I got a chance to use my flash and just get really cool photos and Ben seemed to like them as well. After we got done, he said to go wild creatively when editing which of course I did and even made some album cover looks. Other than that this week has been pretty quiet. I been looking for jobs in the Omaha area and still no luck, hopefully things will work out by next week because I seriously need a job if I want to get a car let alone more camera gear ;-) Also it be nice if its full time that way it be worth keeping through the rest of the year. Anyways hope you enjoy these photos posted I am going to be doing some work on my websites and keep you posted when they get updated to my liking. HAPPY JULY 4TH WEEKEND!!!

Blog Numero Dos!

Here is my photo for June 25, 2010. The room I am in is in the basement which is the coldest room in the house. Reason why I am wearing a robe and yet its summer.

Soooo today marks the one year anniversary of the death of Michael Jackson a.k.a. The King of Pop. Being the avid fan that I am, I spent much of the day watching tribute video blocks on VH1 classic, FUSE, and *GASP* even MTV was playing music videos of him. Of course though it was a very short MJ video block followed by more pointless reality shows that kill billions of brain cells worldwide on a daily basis. Who the heck watches that mess anyways? Well to get back on topic I spent much of the day watching MJ vids and of course sang along, danced, and reminisced on the memories that accompany his songs. Its crazy how it has been a year since that faithful day he went into cardiac arrest. I remember literally stopping everything I was doing (I was in the process of making a slide show) when I heard the dude on Headline News report that hes in the hospital and it doesn't look good. It wasn't too long before Wolf Blitzer came on and confirmed that he was indeed dead. Moments like these make me think about just how short life can be you know? Now that its a year later someone would have to wonder what would happen if he was still alive today. He certainly would of been done with his London concerts and maybe coming to America. I sort of have the belief that when its your time to go, there is nothing you can do about it. Still I and many fans sure wonder what it be like if he was still alive.

New BLOGinings!

After getting a lot of people asking, I decided that that the time has come for me to create a blog. I been getting really into the photography thing and love showing my work so what better way to do it than with a blog. I especially wanted to do this since I am currently doing a 365 project where I take at least one photo a day and post it online. Right now I been posting on facebook but really want have them on a blog as well. This will also have my shoots, events, and anything else that may be of interest.

To start things off here are a couple of photos from the last few days. The first one is me editing a friends photo while watching a Michael Jackson video marathon. I figure its on today since Friday marks the one year anniversary of the death of the king of pop. I will probably talk about this more tomorrow.
Second photo from yesterday is of my dads house aka my new place of residence until school starts.
